Content Policy

This policy explains what content is allowed on Ankit Digital Media and the technical requirements for audio, artwork, metadata, and YouTube Content ID.

Policy details

Please read carefully before submitting releases. We may reject or remove content that does not meet these standards.

1) Ownership & Authorization

You may only submit content that you fully own or have written authorization to distribute and monetize. This includes the sound recording rights and publishing/composition rights where applicable.

  • You must have the right to distribute the audio and artwork.
  • You must have permission for samples, remixes, or third-party recordings.
  • Unauthorized, copied, or stolen content is not allowed.
2) Audio Requirements (Technical)

To ensure platform acceptance and best quality, submit audio using these standards:

  • Preferred format: WAV
  • Sample rate: 44.1 kHz
  • Bit depth: 16-bit
  • Channels: Stereo
  • No clipping, distortion, or watermarking
3) Artwork Requirements (Technical)

Artwork must be high quality and platform-safe:

  • Accepted formats: JPG or PNG
  • Minimum size: 3000 × 3000 pixels
  • Color mode: RGB
  • No URLs, phone numbers, pricing, or promotional text
  • Artwork must match the release branding and title
4) Metadata Rules

Metadata must be accurate and truthful. Misleading metadata can cause rejections or takedowns.

  • Correct artist name, track title, language, and contributors
  • No impersonation of another artist/label
  • No keyword stuffing or misleading titles
5) YouTube Content ID Rules

YouTube Content ID is designed for rights monetization of eligible content. Any misuse is treated as a serious violation.

  • No false ownership claims or claiming content you do not own.
  • No re-uploads of existing music, movie scenes, TV audio, or third-party recordings.
  • No loops/compilations designed to trigger claims.
  • Repeated disputes, fraud signals, or policy violations may result in penalties.
If YouTube Content ID is misused (false claims / unauthorized claims / repeated disputes), we may immediately block the account and hold or withhold royalties.
6) Prohibited Content & Activities
  • Fake, copied, or unauthorized content
  • Copyright infringement or repeated takedown violations
  • Artificial streaming (bots, click farms, stream manipulation)
  • Metadata manipulation to mislead platforms
7) Enforcement

If violations are detected, Ankit Digital Media may take actions without prior notice to protect platforms and rights owners.

Actions may include: release rejection, takedown, account suspension/termination, reporting to partner platforms, and royalty hold/withholding.
8) Security & Data Commitment

We use reasonable security measures to protect data (secure sessions, access controls, monitoring). Your data remains secure with us and is never sold.

9) Updates to this Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services means acceptance of the updated policy.
